Radon is a colorless, odorless radioactive gas that seeps up from the earth. When inhaled, it gives off radioactive particles that can damage the cells that line the lung. Long term exposure to radon can lead to lung cancer.

Join us on Feb. 22 when we hear from Scott Arcand, radon program coordinator with the Minnesota Department of Health, about radon in Minnesota and what we can do to protect our homes and families from it. As always, guests are welcome and we meet at noon at Celt's in downtown Farmington.
