We are honored three students in December! 

• Fouad Sherkawi - Fouad, a senior at FHS, is described as a "cool kid", kind, generous and asks great questions. He is active with student council and Nation Honor Society. He volunteers at the Dakota County Library in Apple Valley, is the captain of his ultimate frisbee team and is a math tutor. He is interested in studying science in college with maybe becoming a doctor.
• Megan Hinnenkamp - Megan, a senior at FHS, is active with the student council. She is an assistant in the student counseling office, and they don't know what they would do without her. Megan wants to be an educator when she is done with school. She is unsure if she wants to teach high school social studies or elementary education. She works at kid connection before and after school.  
• Kate Lentsch - Kate, a senior at FHS, is described as active and curious with an attention to detail. She is in concert choir and preforms with the New Dimensions choir.  She is in National Honor Society and teaches young children at her church. She is looking at studying Environmental Sciences and Sustainability and looking at Purdue or Boston College. She is also a lifeguard and swim teacher.

Baby girl Hallie was born on December 7th, 2023.

STRIVE is at the high school. Plan to be at the high school at 10:15am. We will meet with students, 10:25-10:55 a.m. in room 3214.
