By now the words of Ramble Jam is deep engrained in everyone's brain. Besides these words being deeply embedded in our minds is the time to join us at the committee meeting if you have not joined at this time. Going to at least one of the meetings will give you a view of the inner workings of how this amazing festival is coming together. Please make sure to come to next Wednesday's meeting from 8:30 to 9:30 at City Hall. For those that didn't make it last week, here are the highlights: 1. We are close to 1,200 Ramble Jammers that have purchased either General Admission or VIP tickets - there has been a slight drop off in purchases so make sure to keep spreading the good word. 2. We are now up to 7 food and non-food vendors - unfortunately the popcorn vendor had to bow out but we have Amanda reaching out to the Farmington Crossfit business to see if we can get them out there to have some cowboys show off their stuff. 2. Raffle Tickets are due back no later than September 4th - if you are holding onto any tickets, get them out of your possession and into your family and friends hands for a chance to win some amazing prizes 3. Rotarians to date have sold $6060 in Raffle Tickets - we have a lot of work to do to beat last year. It is a lofty goal with less than a week to go but I know we can do it! 4. The IVolunteer site is/will be available shortly for Rotarians to send out to people that you want to be in your area - the main public sign up is coming as well - there has been a hold up with one of the volunteer groups and Lori is diligently kicking them in the butt :) 5. There will not be a community shuttle this year - with Uber/Lyft/Taxi's there did not seem to be a need for the shuttle |
