Speaker:  DG Mike Becker
Ladies and Gentlemen... We got him!  District Govenor Mike Becker is going to be joining us for tomorrow's meeting.

I do believe there was talk of dressing up in your most festive gear... I will be wearing my Pug sweater again in case anyone was wondering... you probably weren't but I do like wearing that atrociuos sweater :)

Let's make sure to give Mike a huge Farmington Rotary welcome when we see him.
Giving Totals for 2018
I have been holding onto this information for a little while now... trying to figure out the best time to spread the news.  The end of the year is approaching and it seems fitting to give the news.

For 2018 we have given back an astonishing $61,203!

Here is the list as of Mid-October which does not account for almost $30,000 we were able to give back to community groups for their raffle sales.  It is amazing how when a group of like-minded, service oriented individuals get together, the amount of giving that can be done.  And don't forget the countless hours each of you have put into this club with service projects and a multitude of items that go into being a Rotarian. Way to go group!

Meeting hosts
A reminder to check the meeting host schedule in the sidebar of The Source to learn when you are scheduled to serve. Each Rotarian serves as a meeting host one month of the year and is responsible for working with your co-host(s) to do the following:
  • Schedule speakers for your month
  • Arrive early to set up
  • Give the meal count to the kitchen
  • Stay late to take down
Please review the meeting host responsibilities for complete details. Contact Janie if you have questions or a conflict with the month you are assigned.

Thank you Dave and Barb for being great meeting hosts for February.  Don, Jenna and Larry ... Spring is right around the corner.  Make sure that we feel that warmth when we walk in every Thursday.
