Oh ladies, gentlemen, boys, girls and Rotarians of all ages... here is a look inside The Board.

It was goal setting day! The efficiency that took place was outstanding.  SMART goals were enacted to better our club and have a more defined focus of what we want to obtain for the remaining months in this Rotary year and the year to come.

Some sad news is that Ann Hastings has put in her resignation and the board had approved it.  We wish Ann well with her future endeavors; wherever those may take her.

The Treasury report was exhilarating!  I will leave it at that.  If you would like an in-depth analysis of said report, I know Mr. McKnight would be more than happy to go over it with you.

The big ticket item today was Ramble Jam.  Know that there is going to be a lot more conversation about what was discussed today.  One item that I will dive into is sponsorships.  There's that word again coming around like a bad habit.  However, this is a habit I would not mind having.  Especially if it means that we are able to do more for our community.  This is our community and it is going to take every single last one of us Rotarians reaching out to everyone in our network to bring in as much as we can.  I will leave it at that... for now :)

Be on the lookout for a regularly scheduled 501club to be starting soon (isn't it awesome that this sort of item actually goes towards our goal?!?!).

The big new business item was the beginning talks of doing something around Prom dresses for individuals that may not be able to afford them.  I know Prom was one of those life experiences that I loved.  I could not imagine someone not going and enjoying the experience because they did not have the means to get a prom dress. Very beginning talks were had on this but I can see this getting a lot of traction just from the conversation we had about it at the meeting.

On a fast and final note: Your Board has authorized a $500.00 donation to the "Play for Patrick" event happening this Saturday.  I love when the meeting ends on a giving note.
