Sophia is a senior at Farmington High School, where she participates in both basketball and track and field. She is actively involved in her church and has completed three mission trips across the globe. These experiences have given her a deep appreciation for the conveniences we enjoy in the U.S., such as easy access to food, clean water, and healthcare.
Last year, Sophia was part of the MNCAPS program and later enrolled in the CNA course offered at the high school. She recently passed her CNA certification exam. While she is still deciding on her plans for next year, she has applied to several colleges in the Midwest. Her goal is to pursue nursing or another healthcare-related field, driven by her passion for caring for others.
Her parents, who accompanied her today, shared that Sophia has always been a wonderful child and a patient helper.
