Your board voted to resume in-person meetings! A hybrid option provides for both in-person gatherings and a Zoom option.

 

Club members were invited to take a survey on meeting times and participate in a discussion during our April 29 meeting. Much discussion and thought have gone into the new schedule, detailed below and in the sidebar. If you want to know more about the reasons behind the new schedule, please reach out to Nate. 

 

Unfortunately, Bourbon Butcher is no longer able to accommodate our club for a meeting space, and there isn't another suitable meeting room in Farmington that offers food. So, based on a recommendation by the admin committee, and the necessity to provide for Zoom accessibility, we are meeting at Farmington City Hall through August. The board will revisit our meeting time and location at that time.

 

No food or beverages will be served for now. This may change as time goes on, but for now, please bring whatever you want to eat or drink to the meetings. 

 

The schedule is a little wonky for the rest of May, but then will settle into a routine.

 

At the April board meeting, your board voted to officially partner with CEEF on a Dew Days fundraiser. The event will take place Sat., Sept. 18, and our club will be in charge of the beer tent. At this time, the committee doesn't expect this will cost the club anything, and they estimate we'll raise $4,000-$6,000, based on what the beer garden previously raised.

 

Meetings with CEEF continue. See the attached meeting notes from the April 8 and 15 meetings for more information and a list of possible events.

 

Farmington Rotarians are invited to attend the planning meetings.
