JUNE 3 MEETING: 8:30 A.M.
Club Assembly: Vote for 2021/22 board
Grab your coffee and head to Farmington City Hall at 8:30 a.m. this Thursday for a very important meeting. President-elect Jenna will put forth her nominations for the Farmington Rotary Club 2021/2022 board of directors, which requires a vote of approval by the club.

Thank you to Jenna, and all of the director nominees, for agreeing to serve Farmington Rotary. It's a big job, and we are grateful for your service!

WELCOME JOY PEARSON!
Welcome to Joy Pearson, Farmington Rotary's newest member! Joy was approved for membership at the May 26 board meeting.

Joy owns Finch & Daisy Consulting, is a member of the Farmington Business Association, serves on the Farmington City Council and has lived in Farmington for 16 years.

Most unfortunately, Joy was raised in Wisconsin. It is currently unknown which sports teams she supports, though she lists reading, journaling and photography as hobbies. So there must be hope.

Please welcome Joy to Farmington Rotary. Go Twins!

SERVICE PROJECT: ROADSIDE CLEANUP
Our spring roadside-cleanup project is scheduled for June 10 at 4:30 p.m. We will pick up trash along a two-mile stretch of Pilot Knob Road, which Farmington Rotary adopted several years ago. It typically takes about an hour or so, depending on how many hands we have.

BOARD MEETING RECAP
Your board of directors met May 26, 2021. View the meeting minutes here. These will be approved or amended at the June board meeting.

DEW DAYS UPDATE
Dew Days, a partnership between CEEF and Farmington Rotary, will take place Sat., Sept. 18. Our club will be in charge of the beer & liquor tent, and will receive the proceeds for sales. The committee estimates we'll raise $4,000-$6,000, based on what the beer garden previously raised.
